Summer Blogging Plan

Summer is here, as evidenced by the first warm weather I’ve seen around these parts in what seems like years. Summer is a bittersweet time for most internet marketers. On the one hand, who doesn’t love the great warm weather? But on the other hand, we all know it’s a seasonal time of year for most keywords. This makes the Summer challenging, because it’s one time of the year where we really can’t afford to drift off and lose our intensity.

If we’re facing less traffic, that means we’ll have to work a bit harder during the next three months than we have for the last three. Or, if we can accept a slight downward trend, then now is the time to goof off ourselves and loosen up on our work as the numbers slide.

Either way is acceptable. I plan on keeping to a pretty tight schedule this year because I think I’ve added enough different topics to my network to compensate for a severe slowdown. At least that’s what I hope.

June started off with some very decent traffic, so it looks like the Summer may be kicking off in a way that’s lucrative, as well as enjoyable. Let’s hope.

How does your blogging change in the Summer?
