StumbleUpon Traffic For Blogs

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I happen to get a decent amount of traffic here at Blog Republic from StumbleUpon. It’s not a service I’ve ever used much, and not one that I ever tried to “game”, so it’s fair to call the traffic “organic.” The traffic will flare up every now and again for an old post, and usually the StumbleUpon traffic is the reason.

The traffic doesn’t click much on ads, but I’m sure any new visitors to a website are worth money. If nothing else, the SU traffic is exposed to your blog, and has a chance to visit again or subscribe to the RSS Feed. I’m not one to turn down any free traffic.

I’m sure it would be pretty easy to inflate/game the SU traffic easily, but at this stage of the game, that’s not an endeavor I’ll be experimenting with.

What are your results with StumbleUpon traffic on your blog? Oh, and thanks to whoever it is that submits the pages!

    2. Stumble traffic is plain sucky, if you compare bandwidth to clicks you do not get enough clicks for the bandwidth.
if you compare stumble to places like digg you get more for your buck from digg, even through commenting on other diggs you can get some good traffic.

    3. You can bypass the bandwidth issue and just get the clicks if you use a plugin like WP-SUPER-CACHE .. which, I’ve been experimenting with. It’s made me actually WANT to get stumbledupon instead of frowning from getting it.
