There will be days when you just don’t feel like making a blog post. It can happen to anyone. This particular feeling of malaise can strike at any time and leave you wondering whether you will ever hit the “Publish” button again. When you feel like this, you only have a few choices. Mainly you take some time away from the computer, or you can decide to “soldier on” and do your posting job.
Life isn’t about only doing the things you want
If it were, people would spend all day eating chocolate cake and no time doing work! You won’t always feel like blogging, but if you have set yourself up as some sort of blogger, you’ll need to get the job done, whether the stars are perfectly aligned and you’re in a pleasant mood, or not.
If this condition of being unable to post continues, you may have a chronic problem on your hands and you might need some time off for reflection. But if it’s just a once-in-a-while feeling that makes you feel like taking the day off, you need to ignore the impulse.
Once you decide to post, the final result is as good as assured. Just sit right down, open up your blogging software, and publish your thoughts, as usual!
How do you stay motivated to post when you’re not really in the mood?
