Shut Up And Blog!

There’s nothing more to it. I was discussing the finer points of blogging today and my wife said “Shut up and blog”. She sung it to the tune of Rihanna’s “Shut up and Drive”. This statement was so sublime and perfect in its’ concise nature that I just had to share it with you.

Turn off that internal voice that’s always babbling and just sit down on your WordPress and get to work creating more content for the monstrously information-thirsty Internet. The internet is awash in content. Have you done your part to add to the conversation? Anyone who is blogging surely has.

And for people who are still just in the thinking stages about blogging rather than getting on with it, then this phrase is particularly fit for you. Just do it.

At the end of the day, some or none of what you write will matter. But no matter what, your effort will count for something.
