Intrepid Bloggers Rewarded With Free Cruise

There’s nothing like a free cruise that you received due to your blogging to lift your spirits. The unexpected benefit came yesterday when a representative of Royal Caribbean Cruises extended an offer to Heather and myself to take a free two day cruise on the new “Liberty of the Seas” cruise ship. They’re inviting select journalists and travel bloggers to the event, so undoubtedly it’s to help increase exposure to the ship. I’m sure I’ll blog about it extensively upon my return!

I hate to admit it, but one of the main reasons I set up the Blog Republic Blog Network is because I figured that bloggers were gaining in standing, and that being a blogger allows you to achieve some form of status online, which is easily translatable into a higher income and more perks. I knew that if I positioned myself in “money keyword categories” I’d eventually attract “free stuff” as well.

Well now that day is here and I am psyched. I hope that this small bit of good news will excite some of you bedraggled and ghostly bloggers out there, as well! When I’m chilling on the huge vessel that has onboard surfing, cantilevered whirlpools, an H2O Zone waterpark, and much, much more, I’ll be thinking of all of you. As I hobknob with the cruise glitterati and insiders, I’ll humbly remember it was my blogging that opened the doors to some excitement, to go along with all of the financial incentives.

If your significant other doesn’t support your blogging yet, perhaps you can tell them there might just be a whole lot of hidden benefits, because blogging is about being in the right place at exactly the right time. Hopefully this is the start of a trend for all us bloggers :)

What is the best free thing you ever received from blogging?
