Advantages Of Short Blog Posts

Short blog posts are not generally considered to be as valuable as long posts, but I think they’re getting a bad rap. You don’t always have time to launch into a 15,000 diatribe, and more importantly, you can’t even be guaranteed that anyone will read the whole thing. So sometimes you just have to shorten it up and be concise.
- Short posts don’t take much time to write - freeing you to do other things
- Short posts don’t take long to read - freeing your readers to do other things to
- You can do more short posts than long ones so your archive grows

I’m guilty of failing to finish most long blog posts. I’d be willing to bet there’s a lot of people in the same boat as I am…. even if it’s fascinating, if it’s really really long, I’m probably not making it to the end.
Keep it short when possible.
