Every Blog Post That Needs To Be Made Has Been Made

Sometimes you sit down at your WordPress, and you find that words have eluded you. You can’t manage to type up a post, despite trying to psyche yourself up. At times like this it feels like every possible blog post has already been made, not only by you, but by others. If you’re in a small niche, you literally probably have covered the same subject ad infinitum until there’s almost nothing more you can add. Almost.

If you run out of ideas, you need to adapt your approach for awhile

1) If you haven’t done many “how tos”, try writing articles like that. Writing reference pieces might result in linkbait

2) Look for completely fresh news sources. If you’re running out of steam, so is the information you’ve been processing. Open your mind to completely new sources you haven’t considered before.

3) Scour over some of your past posts. Perhaps you have enough decent material to make a compilation? This might be good for readers, and good for an ego boost.

A bad enough block could equal stagnation

It’s possible you’ve hit the advanced stages of blogging burnout. It can strike anyone, at any t ime. Maybe it caught up with you. If that happens, you might need to really re-think your approach. Perhaps you should go on a worldwide vacation to clear your head? A first class cruise should make you feel top-notch. Luckily, blogging has afforded you enough time and money to do just that. Or at least we hope so!
