If you want to be popular, it pays to be stupid. This is true almost anywhere you look. The dumbest things are usually the biggest hits with the most people. I found myself amazed that I saw a line of people standing in the rain at WalMart waiting for the new Playstation. It was raining, but these jokers had their $600 and were ready to plunk it down.
And that’s the way it always goes. Something like a new gaming console is popular. Literature from the 17th century is not. It doesn’t matter how erudite one may be. So when you’re thinking of what to blog about, don’t be afraid to blog about things that seem sort of dumb to you.
Even pretty dumb blogs seem to be popular, so don’t be afraid to show your ignorance. It may just help you in the long run.
Are you ready to get stupid today? ![]()

So true so true.
I think the key is to be honest at what you know and what you don’t and people will ultimately reward you by commenting on your article posts to tell you the real deal.. having readers be active on your blog means they are there longer and will probably be back again and again to give his or her point of view..

For sure, Nick. The commenters also give you a great deal of ego satisfaction. It beats manning a lonely blog
