Okay, I've claimed my blog. Time to watch the Blog Republic sky-rocket to the top. I'm sure it won't be overnight. Heck, it may not even be this decade. But with enough determination and enthusiam, it's only a matter of time.

It's very easy to add plugins to WordPress, and a few of them are definitely essential. One I think is just great is the related links plugin. This will create a fulltext index on certain fields so that related links are automatically appended. This is nice for the random ...

Yes it's true. Blog Republic has already been spidered by Google, within 2 hours of purchasing the domain. Links from active websites really are the best way to get spidered quickly by Google.
It will be interesting to see if there's any type of Sandbox effect, or maybe we'll be lucky ...
